DSCC hits Schaffer in new Web ad for Ukraine comment

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is out with a new 30-second Web ad slamming Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Schaffer for comments he made to the Denver Post in 2002 that, as a U.S. Congressman, he “accomplished more in that country [Ukraine] with less effort than I have in my own district.”

“Bob Schaffer seems to have misunderstood the job of a United States Congressman, since he actually bragged about accomplishing more for Ukraine than for the people in his own district,” DSCC spokesman Matthew Miller said. “Schaffer will stand up for the special interests, his own interests, or even a foreign government any day of the week, but when it comes to fighting for Colorado, he’s nowhere to be found.”

How can he say he

How can he say he accomplished so much when I haven't even heard his name. This guy is a fool I am afraid to say if he really thinks he can win anything.
