Former Colorado GOP Chair Bob Martinez is heading former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's presidential campaign in Colorado, according to a press release posted on ColoradoPols this morning.
Martinez said he felt an "immediate connection" with Huckabee after meeting him last year.
"I found him to be a warm, caring and intelligent human being," Martinez said in the release. "I have since grown to admire his strong ability to communicate with the American people. His humble background, previous pastorial leadership and his strong executive experience as Governor of Arkansas is something that will attract people."
