Gordon Pens Poison Pen Letter to Voters

Senate majority leader Ken Gordon is really miffed with the voters.  And it comes across in his prose.

In an OP Ed in the Denver Post yesterday Gordon takes issue with “the people of Colorado.” It reads more like a rant than a well reasoned argument.  In it, Gordon argues that “the reason this country is in such a mess is because of them.”

 Yikes.

I don’t think you can say that this salvo from the ranking member of the senate Democrats is the opening shot in a campaign designed to become Secretary of State.  At least not in Colorado.

Gordon recognizes however that any candidate who would argue publicly that the voters are to blame for “the mess” the country is in is “crazy."

So what is that say about how Gordon feels about himself?

Maybe what we need is better leaders, Ken.  Because we can tell you right now we’re stuck with the voters we have.
