Armstrong announces more big-name backers

Another day, another list of name GOP endorsements for Wil Armstrong.

The 6th Congressional District Republican candidate was endorsed Thursday by former Secretary of State Gigi Dennis, RNC committeeman Mark Hillman, 2006 GOP gubernatorial candidate Marc Holtzman, state Senate Minority Leader Andy McElhany, former Lt. Gov. Jane Norton, former state Director of Higher Education Rick O'Donnell, and former state Director of Natural Resources Greg Walcher.

In a statement released by the Armstrong campaign, Hillman said, "Wil Armstrong has brought together both Pro-Ref C and anti-Ref C leaders Both Schaffer supporters and Coors supporters. Both Beauprez and Holtzman supporters. Wil is the future of our party - a leader around whom we can rally."

"Wil Armstrong has a proven business record that he can take back to Washington and immediately put it to work in congress," Holtzman said in the statement. "We all know there isn't nearly enough of that type of experience and discipline back there."

"Wil hasn't been tainted by his own self serving interests," Dennis said in the statement. "He'll be there for Colorado with a fresh vision, the energy to work, and a clear conscious to listen to his constituents."

Voting for Armstrong

I received my mail-in ballot today and I saw the tv ads too very informative, I am leaning toward Armstrong as well. I hate to say it but we need Coffman as Secretary of State, it too important of an office for the Republicans to give to the Democrats

Getting

Yeah, I've heard Armstrong is now within 25 points of Coffman! At this pace it could be a real nail biter sometime around 2011. Give me a break, this race isn't now, nor will it ever be Close.

tv ad

I saw the tv ad today and I must say Armstrong's commercial is diverse and impressive and the message is clear. I will be mailing my mail-in ballot for Armstrong, because I think he cares more about the Veterans and the average citizens on issues in the 6th district.

Anyone notice?

how most of those people on the latest list lost their campaigns just like Wil is going too.

Message

Wil’s message is I’m a businessman. Yet he never mentions any of them by name and his dad started every busy for him. That message is weak

Momentum switch?

Today I received my absentee ballot. I have already received a live call from a Coffman volunteer, an automated call from Mike and two pieces of literature from Mike. I have received nothing from the Armstrong campaign.

election

I agree it seems that the momentum has switched over to the Armstromg campaign, this race will be closer than most coffman supporters would like, now that I have watched the commercial, I am leaning toward Armstrong for Congress, over the other 3 candidates mentioned in the tv ad.

pendulum

with influx of endorsements, the tv ads magnifying the Armstrong message versus the indecisiveness of the voting machine debacle, the downgrading of the importances of the SOS position, coffman's insurmoutable lead is fading, it appears the pendulum is swing toward the Armstrong campaign.

Not

Just more political favors being returned to Bill Armstrong. When will the Armstrong campaign begin to realize that all of these “endorsements” are not going to change the outcome of this race? Nobody believes any of these folks would be supporting Will without Bill.
