Romney endorses Armstrong

Sixth Congressional District Republican candidate Wil Armstrong picked up his most high-profile supporter to date on Tuesday, winning the endorsement of former Massachusetts Gov. and possible VP candidate Mitt Romney.

"Washington is broken and Wil Armstrong is the best man to fix it," Romney said in a statement.

"Wil Armstrong is a career businessman, not a career politician," Romney continued in the statement. "It is that real-world experience that Washington so desperately needs today. He has dealt with complex business situations and forged solutions during both the highs and lows of an unstable economy.

"For the same reason I decided to enter public service, Wil Armstrong is doing the same," Romney, who spent years in the private sector, said in the statement. "People who have spent their careers outside Washington creating jobs and running enterprises can bring a unique perspective to Washington. It is a voice and perspective with which we need to hear more."

combat zone

most men/women in uniform when returning back from combat, usually do not receive the fanfare or photo op opportunities because they are really in a combat zone, unless you are a career politican and trying to move up the political food chain.

U r joking right?

If Mike really went to Iraq to get a photo op, seems like a pretty dangerous way to get a picture. Especially since he had plenty of photos from when he served in the first gulf war. Seems like he did it more for his country than for a political opportunity. But I wouldn’t expect someone who didn’t serve to understand that.

I was First to pull the Wool

I beat Wil to the punch. I took a photo op in dessert strom to promote my next politcal office, I also took a photo op in Iran to look more congressional. I wanted to be Governor, instead I ran for Secretary of State one of the most important office in the State, but got bored decided to run for Congress, in 2 years I will run for the US Senate, after that I will run for Governor. Life is great being a career politican.

Pull the Wool over your eyes

Career politicians are bad. Yet everyone endorsing my campaign is a career politician. Well, except for Romney of course who was reeled into endorsing my campaign by career politicians and my wallet. The voters don’t know I have never been elected and am an empty suit. They will believe I am a businessman and earned all my success. They won’t put it together that everything I have can be attributed to my father.

Big Mo

with the Romney endorsement and the Colorado Veterans Alliance endorsement it appears that Big Mo is now on Armstrong sides and that big lead is now gone from the coffman, the election is slipping away from mike.

Romney Endorses Armstrong

Yet another politician bought by the Armstrong gang. Shameful. Does anybody actually believe a word of the b.s. coming out of the Armstrong campaign? "Oooh, he's a Christian businessman. I'm swooning!"
