Second Congressional District Democratic candidate Will Shafroth's second television ad, which began airing on cable Tuesday, highlights his recent endorsement by the Rocky Mountain News.
The ad is part of what Shafroth manager Lynea Hansen called a "significant" cable ad buy; it will also be aired on broadcast TV in the coming days, she said.
The ad, entitled "Quotes," offers passages from the Rocky's endorsement of Shafroth in the CO-2 Democratic primary. The Rocky's endorsement was published last Friday.
Hansen said the new ad "is tied to existing and additional buys on cable for now and network in the coming days."
The cable ad buys run through the August 12 primary; Hansen declined to give the cost of the ad buys.
