Though U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Denver) has been very public recently in welcoming Democrats to Denver, he’s glad disgraced former presidential candidate John Edwards is nowhere in sight.
Edwards was scheduled to speak during the Democratic National convention, but he was dropped from the program following his admission of having an affair with a campaign videographer.
"(Edwards' affair was) wrong and from my point of view, as one of the hosts of the convention, I’m glad he’s not here," Salazar said to reporters Saturday afternoon.
