Kal Penn, volunteer usher

Kal Penn assists a delegate on the DNC floorKal Penn is best-known as an actor on the TV show “House” and as half of the movie duo Harold and Kumar.
But this week, he’s just one of a fleet of volunteer ushers on the floor of the Democratic National Convention.
Wearing a florescent yellow yest and a name tag, Penn said the pages “are doing the work that needs to be done” on the floor, such as directing people to their delegation seats.
Asked if many people have recognized him at the convention, Penn said, “Most people are here for the right reasons, which are the folks that we’re listening to – which is nice.”

I just saw a glimpse of him
I just saw a glimpse of him while watching CNN's HD coverage. I was so convinced it was Kal Penn, I googled his name and the DNC. Sure enough, I found this. Interesting stuff!

So happy my family and I were not gong crazy. We were watching CNN and when we saw him behind James Carval's head, in unison, "Kutner?"
