McCain ad congratulates Obama
By Jeremy Pelzer, PolitickerCO.com ReporterJohn McCain will air a TV ad congratulating Barack Obama statewide in Colorado and other battleground states on Thursday, as Obama delivers his Democratic presidential nomination acceptance speech at Invesco Field.
The ad will air statewide on broadcast and cable, said McCain spokesperson Tom Kise.
Transcript:
JOHN MCCAIN: Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America.
Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations.
How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day. Tomorrow, we'll be back at it. But tonight Senator, job well done.
I'm John McCain and I approved this message.
