McCain, Palin will visit Colorado Springs next week
By Jeremy Pelzer, PolitickerCO.com ReporterJohn McCain and his newly selected running mate Sarah Palin will be in Colorado Springs on Sept. 6 for a large rally.
The rally will be held at a hangar at the Colorado Jet Center, 1575 Aviation Way in Colorado Springs, said Nathan Fisk, El Paso County GOP executive director.
Doors will open about 9 a.m., Fisk said; McCain and Palin will show up about 11 a.m.
The event is open to the public, but a ticket is required to enter. Tickets are available at McCain campaign offices in Colorado.
"It's going to be huge," Fisk said.
