CD-6 GOP candidate Wil Armstrong brought in more than $220,000 in the first quarter of 2008, his campaign announced today.
His campaign also reported having $283,006 cash-on-hand at the end of the quarter, a press release stated.
Altogether, Armstrong's campaign brought in $226,815 in 1Q 2008 -- bettering his 4Q 2007 haul of $192,136, though he only entered the race last November.
"Our fundraising success is evidence of the broad-based support I've received since I announced my candidacy," Armstrong stated in a statement. "I look forward to sharing my message with the voters in the 6th congressional district and earning their vote to succeed Representative Tancredo."
