Buried in the text of the press release announcing Will Shafroth’s fund-raising prowess is a list of prominent donors. Amongst the donors is a curious inclusion: Joan FitzGerald.
OK, we’ll bite.
The Joan FitzGerald you’re thinking of and I’m thinking of is not the one included on the press release. But since the press release makes it clear that it’s not a complete list, just a “sample” someone from the Shafroth campaign obviously had to decide to put the name on the press release. They tell us that it’s someone from Massachusetts.
Now that’s pretty darned funny.
Matt Moseley, a FitzGerald spokesman was surprised at the inclusion of the FitzGerald name on the report but declined to comment on the record.
Our guess is that he’ll have a very serious talk with Joan about her spending habits.
Some other funny names from the report:
Stonewall Jackson and Mike Dukakis.
Ok so Dukakis isn’t that funny. Except we mentioned him in carton two weeks ago which you can find by clicking here.
It’s spooky. Just when you think no one cares about Mike Dukakis he comes up twice in a row.
