Rayburn Announces Second Quarter Fundraising

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Colorado Springs-The Rayburn campaign announced today that for the second quarter of 2008 they took in $71,784. For the cycle, Rayburn has raised a total of $266,574. The campaign reports cash on hand as $62,039. An analysis of the contributors indicates that Rayburn continues to get an overwhelming majority of his contributions from within Colorado. During this period, 68 % of Rayburn's contributors indicated that they reside within the state of Colorado.
Rayburn stated, "I am humbled by the number of people who continue through their financial support to invest in our message of the importance of having greater military experience and more effective, proven leadership in Congress during this critical time in our nation's history."
