McInnis endorses Armstrong

Congressional candidate Wil ArmstrongCongressional candidate Wil ArmstrongFormer Republican U.S. Rep. Scott McInnis announced his endorsement today of Republican Wil Armstrong, candidate for the 6th Congressional District seat seeking to replace retiring U.S. Rep. Tom Tancaredo (R-Littleton).

In a statement released this afternoon, McInnis cited Armstrong's leadership skills, energy conservation policy, and his "real world experience" as reasons for the endorsement.

"He is the best man to shake up Washington and get it back on the right track," said McInnis, who represented the 3rd Congressional District from 1993 until 2005. "Wil's got a record of principled leadership in the business world and will take that experience to clean up Congress."

McInnis also included a video message in his endorsement, which can be viewed online at Armstrong's website.

Armstrong, who lives in Greenwood Village, is the CEO of the software developer Blueberry Systems.

Interesting that the "political outsider" seems to be hooked in with all the political veterans. Wonder who's calling in favors for him? Could it be daddy... no!

Daddy calls in favors

When will politicians support the best candidate in a race rather than returning favors? This is politics at its worst. Armstrong is a terrible candidate who would not get these endorsements if it weren't for his poppa.

Video is difficult to follow

Makes you wonder what they cut out. Also, you'd think they would have a better production, at least out of respect for Scott. Do primary voters watch youtube?

Yawn

This video was actually up yesterday but I think the Armstrong team didn't mean to release it. Then they sent out a press release today to cover their mistake. This mistake correlates with the way their campaign has been going. Why wouldn't they wait till next week to release this?
