Kaminsky questions Post bias

In today's Inside Edge, Wally takes a look at a multi-part series penned by Rossputin, the fiscally conservative blogger from Denver.  Also known as Ross Kaminsky, Rossputin takes issue with the Denver Post's stories on Bob Schaffer in two parts of a promised eight part series.  And yes eight parts is a little long. We hope that Rossputin isn't trying to over-compensate for something...like being paid .10 cents per word. Shame on you.

A funny story about cows in Denver leads Wally to ponder some serious questions about conflict of interest. If Obama's vetter-of-veeps-in-chief can't get a loan from Countrywide, should the Denver Post be calling the shots about cattle drives during the DNC this summer? Better yet should any media be subsidizing any political convention?

Hillman wins Politicker's first Gordon Humphrey award

Today the Inside Edge is proud to give out our first ever Gordon J. Humphrey award to former State Senator and former acting Treasurer Mark Hillman.

The award is named after former U.S. Sen. Gordon Humphrey from New Hampshire because Humphrey was once named the dumbest Senator in the U.S. Senate by Washingtonian magazine; and to dispel any doubt as to whether he was the dumbest Senator or not, Humphrey promptly called a news conference in order to deny that he was, in fact, the dumbest U.S. Senator.

Ouch.
