U.S. Rep. Diana DeGetteU.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Denver) won Saturday's CD-1 Democratic assembly unopposed, and suggested her superdelegate vote may go to Barack Obama following the last Democratic presidential primary, ColoradoPols is reporting.
DeGette, who as a sitting Democratic member of Congress is a presidential superdelegate, pledged her support to Hillary Clinton last November. But in her CD-2 Democratic assembly acceptance speech Saturday, ColoradoPols reported that DeGette "said that she would not join in any super delegate cabal to overturn the will of the people as expressed by the popular and pledged delegate count."
