Larimer County Republican Party Chair Kirk Brush said Thursday he thinks the state House District 52 race will be so tight  that it will come down to the provisional ballots.

"That race will be so close that they won't even have the results on Election Day," Brush said.

Colorado House District 52 Republican nominee Bob McCluskey has donated $48,000 to his campaign over the past two weeks for advertising, the Fort Collins Coloradan is reporting.

It remains unknown whether all the money went towards paying for television advertising McCluskey has been running for the past few weeks.

A phone message left with McCluskey on Wednesday was not immediately returned.

Democratic incumbent John Kefalas, though, told the Coloradoan that McCluskey's donation was a "notable development" in the race.
