In today's Inside Edge, Wally takes a look at a multi-part series penned by Rossputin, the fiscally conservative blogger from Denver. Also known as Ross Kaminsky, Rossputin takes issue with the Denver Post's stories on Bob Schaffer in two parts of a promised eight part series. And yes eight parts is a little long. We hope that Rossputin isn't trying to over-compensate for something...like being paid .10 cents per word. Shame on you.
The DSCC took another swipe at US Senate candidate Bob Schaffer today on the Mariana Islands controversy. In a press release issued today DSCC spokeman Matthew Miller rips Schaffer for allowing "human rights abuses to continue," while the Schaffer campaign manager, Dick Wadhams accused Schaffer opponent, Mark Udall, of being a hypocrite on the Mariana controversy.
Schaffer didn’t look so vapid when he was parasailing off the Mariana Islands. We saw the picture on ColoradoPols, just like everyone else. You can see the TPM video that explains the whole story in a nutshell.
"I still remember one of the very first meetings we put together to discuss gang violence with a group of community leaders. We waited and waited for people to show up, and finally, a group of older people walked into the hall. And they sat down. And a little old lady raised her hand and asked, 'Is this where the bingo game is?'"
