DeGette drops out of Democratic Caucus vice-chair race

U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Denver)  removed her name from consideration for vice chair of the Democratic Caucus on Monday, backing U.S. Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.) instead, Politico is reporting.
