Mitt Romney made a strong showing in Colorado on Tuesday night winning 59 percent of Republican caucus-goers to his side in the GOP presidential preference poll. Poll finds Romney leading GOP field, Democrats Clinton and Obama in close fight

A Mason Dixon/Denver Post poll of likely Colorado caucus voters finds Mitt Romney leading the GOP field by a wide margin and Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in a close fight.

On the Republican side, Romney picks up 43%, with John McCain at 24%, Mike Huckabee at 17%, Ron Paul at 5%, and Rudy Giuliani at 4%.

Time Magazine editor makes Mile High mistake

There’s an article on Time Online about the Super Tuesday primary. In it Time contends that there is a possibility that the GOP field will come out of the 21-state “Tsunami Tuesday’ with a split field.

Bob Martinez To Rally Huckabee Forces In Colorado

Former Colorado GOP Chair Bob Martinez is heading former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's presidential campaign in Colorado, according to a press release posted on ColoradoPols this morning.

Martinez said he felt an "immediate connection" with Huckabee after meeting him last year.

"I found him to be a warm, caring and intelligent human being," Martinez said in the release.  "I have since grown to admire his strong ability to communicate with the American people. His humble background, previous pastorial leadership and his strong executive experience as Governor of Arkansas is something that will attract people."
