Rothenberg Report says U.S. Senate race now favors Udall

With polls starting to turn against Republican Bob Schaffer, The Rothenberg Report revised its rating of Colorado's U.S. Senate race on Monday to "lean takeover" by Democratic nominee Mark Udall.

Rothenberg had previously rated the race a "toss-up" in mid-September.

Politicker's Pindell Report rates the race as a "toss-up," though it ranks the race as the third-most competitive U.S. Senate race in the nation.

Rothenberg Report revises CO-4 rating to "toss-up/tilt Democratic"

In another sign Democrat Betsy Markey is threatening U.S. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave's re-election hopes, the Rothenberg Political Report relabeled its rating of the 4th Congressional District race on Tuesday to "toss-up/tilt Democratic."

Rothenberg had previously rated the race as a "pure toss-up."

Politicker's Pindell Report and the Cook Political Report still rate the race as a "toss-up"; CQ Politics says the race still "leans Republican."
