Today's convention schedule

The third day of the Democratic National Convention will be called to order at 5:00 PM EST on Wednesday, with a theme of "Securing America's Future."

The day will begin with the nominating process for President, including nominating speeches for U.S. Sens. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Barack Obama (D-Ill.), followed by a roll call vote.

The headline speaker will be vice presidential nominee, U.S. Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.).

Featured speakers will include President Bill Clinton (D), U.S. Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), Gov. Bill Richardson (D-N.M.), U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), U.S. Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and former U.S. Sen. Tom Daschle (D-S.D.).

Bill Clinton To Hold DU Rally Wednesday; Daschle Visit Canceled

Former President Bill Clinton will host a rally for his wife Hillary's presidential campaign Wednesday night at the University of Denver, just hours after Hillary's opponent Barack Obama will visit the school.

The Bill Clinton "Solutions for America" rally will start at 9 p.m. at the Ritchie Center, Hillary Clinton's campaign said Tuesday.

Bill Clinton, Daschle To Visit Denver Next Wednesday

Former President Bill Clinton will be in Denver next Wednesday for a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign fundraiser in Cherry Creek, the Denver Post is reporting -- one day before President Bush comes to town.

Former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-S.D.) will also visit Denver the same day on behalf of U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign, the newspaper reported.
