Prior to joining PolitickerCO, I interned with The Hotline in Washington, D.C.; Copley News Service's Illinois State Capitol Bureau; and The State Journal-Register in Springfield, Ill.
I have a master's degree in public affairs reporting from the Univ. of Illinois at Springfield and a bachelor's degree in political science from the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
I currently serve on the Executive Committee of the Colorado Capitol Press Association. I am also a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.
