Feedback Friday

You know its Friday because you get the latest comments, emails, and threats from Wally's World. This week we expose a weasel that's been posting comments on the site. Or maybe we just expose a commentator that was pointing out weasels on the site. Either way it's quite fun this week and we hope you enjoy it.

"Anyone heard [Ward's] radio ad? What's with the helicopter in the background??"

- Posted by I wonder in response to our story "Ward gets weirder."

Dear I wonder,

Yes we have heard that radio ad and have to agree. At first it seems to make sense, because Ward is highlighting his military record. But as Ward changes to other topics it seems like a skit from Monty Python. We expect that any moment Eric Idle or John Cleese will interject. We don't have the times the ad runs but if you email the campaign at steve@stevewardforcongress.com we're sure they'll tell you when they run on KNUS 710 AM.

"Do we really want ANOTHER democratic senator in this red-leaning state???"

- Posted by Lane Cook in response to our story "Udall starts four-day statewide tour."

Dear Lane,

By every important measure that matters (namely campaign wins and losses) Colorado is not a red leaning state. Sure the Republicans enjoy a numerical advantage registration wise. But that didn't help Pete Coors beat Ken Salazar, or Bob Beauprez beat Bill Ritter, or it didn't prevent the Democrats from capturing both houses in the legislature and 3 of 7 US congressional seats.

Colorado's a Democratic state right now.

"Your point still has the stench of a weasel"

-Posted by zoo keeper in response to our story "Armstrong turns in record 6,000-plus petition signatures."

Dear zoo keeper,

This is the kind of high-mindedness and intelligent discourse that has been really missing from the debate in the CD-6 race. Are you sure you didn't come from CD-5?

Thanks for reading. See you next week and have a great weekend.

Udall/Democratic State

Colorado may be a democratic state right now, and may go even farther to the left if candidates at the state and federal levels are not exposed for their out-of-touch views on energy, labor, and environemental policy. Udall is the leader of this group, supporting unsustainable enviromental policies, card-check (taking away the rights of workers to secret ballot elections), and stifling the energy economy in colorado for the sake of being more green.
