Today the Boston Herald made public the pitch Obama campaign strategists used with former Clinton supporters last week in bolstering their position that Obama can win enough electoral votes to win the presidency even without winning Ohio and Florida.
Essentially it rehashes an article featured by the Denver Post that the Inside Edge wrote about last week.
Central to the strategy is Obama carrying western states like Colorado, Montana and Nevada.
But also in play say Obama strategists are Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, Florida, Ohio, New Hampshire, Alaska, Georgia and North Dakota.
In other words, the contest is wide open.
The first one to 270 wins.
