Although most federal-level campaigns in Colorado have a presence on the social networking site facebook, the majority haven't bothered to promote it from their campaign websites.
Both U.S. Senate candidates promote their facebook groups on their campaign websites. With 1,619 supporters, U.S. Rep. Mark Udall (D-Eldorado Springs) has by far more supporters on facebook than any other campaign in the state. His opponent, former U.S. Rep. Bob Schaffer (R-Fort Collins) has just 380 supporters.
The only other campaigns to link to their facebook group from their websites are: Jared Polis (D-Boulder), Will Shafroth (D-Boulder), Betsy Markey (D-Fort Collins), Hal Bidlack (D-Colorado Springs), Hank Eng (D-Littleton), and Wil Armstrong (R-Greenwood Village).
A few congressional campaigns have no presence at all on facebook: George C. Lilly (R-Denver), Wayne E. Wolf (R-Cedaredge) and John W. Lerew (R-Aurora).
Below is a summary of the facebook support for the major congressional campaigns in the state.
