Kudos to Salazar

Asked to comment on who he thinks should be U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) vice presidential pick, U.S. Sen. Ken Salazar (D-Denver) diplomatically replied that it's a "uniquely personal decision" for Obama to make.

It does no good to Obama when others weigh in with their preferences on who should be veep, as other Democrats have done. By comparison, Republicans have been considerably more disciplined in terms of keeping their mouths shut on the topic of McCain's vice presidential running mate.
