DNC convention a no-win proposition?

Is Denver ready for the Democratic convention? Expectations are that the city will be prepared and everything will run smoothly. And that might make it a no-win situation for Gov. Bill Ritter (D) and Mayor John Hickenlooper (D).

Sure, it may boost the local economy, but the political consequences are less clear. If the execution is flawless, then they were just doing their job. But if the event has any major hiccups, the two will be criticized by Democrats across the country.
