Remember Stuart Shepard, the digital media director for Focus on the Family who created a YouTube video asking conservatives to pray for rain during U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) outdoor speech tonight at his convention?
"[N]ot just any rain -- abundant rain, torrential rain, urban and small stream flood advisory rain....say, the evening of August 28th right here at Mile High Stadium at Denver during the prime time TV hour," says Shepard in the video which was eventually removed from the organization's website.
In the video, Shepard acknowledged others might not share his views: "Now I know there'll probably be people who'll pray for 72 degrees and clear skies..."
As of Thursday morning, the Weather Channel is predicting 70 degree weather and partly cloudy skies for 8 p.m. -- the time that Obama is expected to take the stage. They project a 0 percent chance of rain.

If it HAD rained in Denver conservatives would have said it was God's doing. But the hurricane in New Orleans--that'll just be an unfortunate coincidence.
