Gov. Bill RitterOne government official with knowledge of the situation has told the Inside Edge that Denver’s plans to deal with possible trouble in the form of demonstrations or terrorist attacks during the Democratic National Convention are “inadequate.”
“Ritter has to study everything that comes to him, he can’t delegate,” said the source. “He has problems making decisions. He just seems frozen in place. Consequently I don’t think we’ll be ready,” for the convention.
Al Qaida cells operating in Colorado and leftwing domestic terror groups are thought to pose the most serious threats to health and safety of Denver resident and convention goers. However it may be a more innocuous group that threatens to disrupt Denver’s commercial and tourism showcase during the convention.
Re-create 68, a self-described activist “clearing house” has plans to help organize and “disseminate information for resistance so the power of the people can be expressed as loudly as possible!”
Their agenda includes a Days of Resistance event for each of the five days which “will focus on a symptom of the disease of an Imperialist, Capitalist, Racist system as seen in our communities.” Also included will be an End the Occupations March & Rally staring at the Pepsi Center on August 24 at 11 am. “No more free pass for the Democrats,” says the website’s invitation. “Join R-68, Troops Out Now Coalition!, United for Peace and Justice, Code Pink, Iraq Veterans Against the War, F.I.S.T. (Fighting Imperialism Standing Together), and others organizations and individuals as we march to end all illegal imperialist occupations in Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Hawaii, North America, and others.”
We’re not sure what they mean by the "occupation" of North America and Hawaii but we have a pretty good idea that their ideas in that regard wouldn’t be helpful to home values for any of us.
“The federal government probably has a firm grasp on any serious terror activities,” says our source, “but I don’t think Ritter has a firm handle on how to deal with these protesters. What we want to prevent is the type of black-eye that Chicago got in 1968. That’s what these people want to do in Denver. Ritter’s plan to prevent it is inadequate.”

Al Qaida cells in Colorado? Leftwing Domestic Terror Groups? Would anyone like to elaborate on what the heck this person is talking about? If any violence occurs it will be started by agent provocateurs or the police directly.
68
Weren't the cops the ones who rioted and brought a black eye on Chicago in '68?
And al Qaida sleeper cells are really a big threat?
This is silly.
