In this edition of Weekly Winners & Losers, we get some losers who finally come to terms with that fact that they are, well, losers. Also some losers get to be winners by simply being allowed to play the game.  So check in with Wally Edge for this week's Weekly Winners & Losers. When you're done it will make lovely wrapping paper for Dad this weekend! Cuz Dad's a winner every day of the week.

Winners

Losers

Ralph Nader

Nader files for ballot access in Colorado which is practically assured. So Nader gets to continue his cunning plan to take over the world 1% of the vote at a time. It’s too bad for Nader that the voting isn’t cumulative.

Ron Paul

Paul officially concedes defeat, making him close to the last one to understand that he’s a loser…of the primary. We trust a majority of his supporters still won’t understand it.

Bentley Rayburn

Rayburn makes noise when freshman US Rep Doug Lamborn turns down Rayburn’s debate invitation. That’s two good weeks for Rayburn. Momentum? Maybe.

Doug Lamborn

First Lamborn refuses to debate his opponents. Now he belatedly says that he’ll endorse the official GOP nominee for president. Wow. Politically the guy has two left feet and two hands that are all thumbs.

Unity Party

Unity becomes an officially recognized party in Colorado. We predict a hook up with Nader will happen shortly so that together they can conquer the world 1.2% of the vote at a time.

Hillary Clinton

The knives come out on Hillary and Bill as they finally concede defeat in the Democratic primary. It’s score settling time with some Clinton opponents helping to kick dirt on their graves.

Jay Marvin

Radio host Marvin blasts CO-2 candidate Jared Polis on the air for showing up and demanding radio time. We’re starting to get bored with the Polis boor act.
